Since 1980, the Alaska Raptor Center has grown from a small backyard operation to become Alaska’s foremost bald eagle hospital and educational center. They provide medical treatment to hundreds of birds. They educate around 36,000 visitors and reach about 15,000 schoolchildren nationwide through classroom presentations and the Adopt-a-Raptor program. Since my visit to the Alaska Raptor Center, in Sitka, Alaska, I have adopted three raptors, Sunset, Qigiq and Tootsie. Please help these beautiful birds receive the proper care they require so that they may hopefully soar once again. Adopt-A-Raptor today!
